contact the pervious owner and ask him about the valve. I don't know for sure but I would guess that a FPR from a 535 would not be sufficient. You need an aftermarket Nash-type regulator.

i tried the CC in the e34 today and i'm sure that thing is broken somehow because when pressing acceleration it was like hitting NOS or something it wasn't a steady pick up it just opened the throttle and the car threw me back now i have a secret weapon that is push operated and dallas funny thing is that in the past month that i have started the e30 project i put the e39 and z under covers and i'm more into the e34....nothing...

Pic's would be nice.
If it's anything like my car, you have to remove the screw that hold it's to the body and the screws holding the hood latch in place. I moved my door gasket slightly to that I could pull it away from the hood, it should just slide off.
I could post a pic tutorial tomorrow if needed.

Hrmm I'm not sure on your AFM question, i've never seen it done the other way. Just put the AFM near the turbo because I know that will work. Also, check out our forced induction sticky!
congrats on getting the car running.

5 green lights + yellow + red = service indicator lights. to my understanding, there is a calculation of how many times you start the car plus how you drive plus many other things. the more you drive, the lights will start to disappear. depending on the last time the oil service light and/or inspection light was reset, the proper one will light up when the service lights are down to the ...

never heard anything like that. sounds like 100% driver error. probably had his foot on the gas and let go of the brake or something of that nature. your car cant launch from a dead stop to high speeds if your pressing the brake like you should be in an auto. in all my years on 4 BMW forums ive never heard anything like this that wasnt driver error.
