Well, years ago Mr. Cranston groveled properly and was invited to a UVI at Port Eads.....now most of the Texas boats ran the ditch (ICWW) but not John.....he and his crew struck out from Freeport (?) and ran STRAIGHT ACROSS THE GULF OF MEXICO NON STOP to Port Eads like they were taking a Sunday Howdy Boat trip....balls the size of coconuts. Me & him sat in Pee Wee's Pavillion one night pretty late telling lies and drinking and he...

My memory of the ChrisCraft Cutlass is of a very pretty, sharp bowed lapstrake hull with a sloping cuddy reminiscant of the Bahia Mar. The hulls were usually dark blue and a single center mounted engine which made the boat very seaworthy. So far, am I correct? If so, it's a perfect boat for fishing Gardner's Bay, as well as all of the adjacent areas. Enjoy! I have admired that boat from way back ...

John,
Changing the timing belt is 90 bucks in parts and an hour in labor.
Anything more and your getting ripped off.
Procedure is as follows:

2. Removes coolant pipe across front of belt cover(two bolts and a clamp)
3. Remove belt cover.
4. Hand crank engine to TDC with timimg marks.
5. Remove tensioner.

Danny's PVC guard rails are actually designed for the 46' Bertram and a few other models. They do not have the same profile as the original rails on the B31. Alex's rails do have the same original profile and thereby will look better...
I doubt that Alex monitors this board very much, so you need to contact him directly for availability: http://www.31bertram.com/index2.html
