the foodbanks are busy ... It keeps getting better and better: Nortel approves more exec raises CBC News Technology giant Nortel has been selling off its units since falling under bankruptcy protection in January. (Rebecca Zandbergen/CBC)Management at Nortel Networks Corp., already under fire for handing out executive bonuses, approved a plan this fall to give another round of raises to its top managers, according to an internal corporate...

At the red lights I'll wait, and wait, and wait. If I spend more than 3-4 minutes at the abandoned intersection and nothing changes (ie. no traffic, light still red), I'll go through. Speeding on an abandoned road? Moral dilemma? What dilemma?

I'm not saying that anyone who has faith can't be a scientist. However faith and science are mutually exclusive but can mutually exist. Quote: I can go on and on but we would get no where because we both have our faiths. I don't have any faith, actually. The issue with trying to marry religion with science is the disposition to fill in the blanks of what science can yet not explain with god. If there is a blank space of science...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BQUnyVsg_Q If its scenic and there is no rush then I might be cruising at 40km/h in 60km/h zone. If approaching an intersection with red light and no traffic, then I would stop right next to the pedestrian crossing button and press it to change the light. Actually I have been doing this for a while on one particular intesection on Canada Way. I would also think that these traffic laws are made by humans like me...

It's true that recycling and hybrids...

As far as light issue goes if it wont change it can be considered faulty and you may proceed with caution. On the topic of speeding on an open road with out risking anyone but yourself I would say if you are willing to risk your own life well that is your choice. But for it to be truly safe it should be a closed course but even on a closed course things go wrong, if its only your life at risk ...

Why do any of us choose the bikes we have? It feeds a need we all have to be validated in some way that is only meaningful to each of us personally and totally irrelevant to those who meet that need in a different way.
Based on this logic, your question is simply an expression of your need for validation. Having met this need to your ...

In 1983, in Victoria, riding my almost new Magna V45, come up to a traffic light, convertible next to me with 4 hotties.
Go to put my left foot down, damn shoe laces wrapped around the shifter, I fall on the left side.
