Of course, good tires, just not quite as soft or aggressive, more than enough for the average and even above average rider IMO.
I had them on my ZRX after 2 sets of 2CT's.....very happy with them.
In fairness, it's pretty tough to go too wrong with damn near any of the well known tires these days.

I have to readjust my idle on my CB between the two opposite season(summer
vs. winter), as the bike acts like you describe once it gets really
hot
outside(like 35C and over). Kinda the opposite of yours.

oregon coast is super slow during the summer... full of motor homes and slow drivers taking in the view.
as long you don't red line the freaking thing the whole trip... I don't see why not.
your buddy will have to play wait up from time to time.
think back; many people over the years have made the trip with much less then a 250.
I can point you to some great roads along...

They work a lot better than the bits of foam you get in the jacket. A well designed protector will stop you bending in the
wrong direction, as well as providing impact protection. Personally, I just use the Icon Field Vest as it's nice and lightweight, and only takes 2 seconds to put on. Fits nicely under a tshirt as well if you don't want to look like a turtle.

A good quality chain is a great investment.
However, the statement about the exhaust being compared to the chain is not really an accurate thing.
The exhaust will not cause a lost of power due to wear. It will stay constant on how much it improves the bike.
Where a chain as it wears will decrease the performance seen from the bike.
If you want to make a huge difference switch to a 520 ...

Yes, provided you passed a recognized
riding school and have 10 years or
more driving experience, and park your bike in a locked garage and not an
underground parkade.
