I'm pretty sure, all you need is a resistor pig tail for each LED, got a set with my watsen's.

You are right regarding the brake lights. They will only be a fraction of the 21 watts (each) as they will only be at 'park' light brightness while riding. Fans only come on in hot weather while stuck in traffic. Not necessary to factor in when wanting to wear heated clothing. Turn signals are intermittent so ignore them as you have done. His mod works wonderfully. I did it to mine a couple years ago and added a better grade of allen bolt and it's all good.

Wouldn't worry too much about the smoke for now - just moisture in the exhaust that got burned off on startup most likely. Fuel stabiliser usually keeps the fuel good for around a year. Did you let the engine run for 10 minutes after you added the stabiliser so it got down into the injectors? Click the link in my sig for how to store a bike fully.

Bad ass! I would be too scared to put my headlights in the oven, I think What exactly is it inside a projector lens that allows for a cut off line/beam pattern, anyway? I've never got a handle on how that works.
