Hey all just got back into town and am playing catchup for planning our ride. Unless it is really wet and rainy this weekend I think Patapsco will be dry enough for a ride, if not I would suggest going out to Loch Raven reservoir which drains better. http://www.gpstrailsource.com/Maps.aspx?MapID=42  This link should take you to a basic map with most of  the trails, the quality isn't that good I guess they want you...

We can tailor this to suite, but a basic plan is to put in the pond at the Park and see how far upstream travel is possible, then run the section from the pond to Hillsboro, shuttling back to Crouse Mill Road (by the pond). For the last few years I have made it a tradition to run the Cheat Canyon the Friday and/or Saturday following Thanksgiving Day. Fortunately, it has been 2.5 feet or higher the last several years. Hi all, I plan to run something closer to the Class II side of the difficulty scale so that novices can enjoy some fall paddling.
