OK, is your friend's oil tank like a soda can upright? If it is then disregard what I said and the Professor's right. I'm visualising the can laying on it's side like our oil tank. That's a lot harder to work out

I didn't give the length because the 36" diameter end should be enough information. The length is...

This story parallels that time a few years ago when that woman was crushed by a crowd of shoppers in a mad rush to get $50 DVD players. Idiots.

Regarding the tragic happening at Walmart, I read one report today that said that while the emergency people were working on the worker, people were still streaming by into the store. Some people are sick. Kevin

A person I know has a round oil tank. It holds 200 gallons of oil and has a 36 1/4" diameter which I'm guessing would be about 36" of inside measurement. How many inches from the bottom would 20, 40, 60, and 80 gallons of oil be. I know 18" from the bottom would be 100 gal. but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. They just want to know about how much oil they have left at a...

I can't hunt because the snow is hip deep in the fields & I can't get to my woods, I use my Polaris 6x6 for hunting - no way. I can't keep my driveway plowed out, & today my greenhouse went down from all the snow. Two barns collapsed last weekend the one had...

If that means the workers need to give up some pay and benefits, so ...
