I didn't realise that 090 came with a chain brake as the only ones I have so far seen pictures of were older. I bet that didn't struggle any.

You will love that axe. It does a good job of splitting for its size. I have split 24" red oak with mine like it was nothing.

I used like #6 fuse wire but u could use thin solder. For what is acceptable depends on the size of the saw!!!!!!!
