If you are using Yahoo Zimbra Desktop, then you are in the right forum As I said, it depends on the account type whether or not Zimbra even supports the Calendar for that account, and if it does I know it has a "Synchronize all calendars" option, but I am not sure if not checking that during account setup disables the Calendar functionality.

I have got the same question. however, I think Zimbra doesn't really support the free Microsoft live hotmail. (may just suppot the paied hotmail plus client whose account can suppot pop3) look this may help: remote access denied when setting up hotmail in my e-mail client - Windows Live Help

Hi, we use ZD because some of our employees are on the road with notebooks. They have mobile data cards to be able to connect to the internet at all times (over mobile network), but ZD is a very convenient way to have your e-mails available offline (and only go online when needed). The problem is, that there are different use cases that are not supported conveniently (neither by the os, nor by ZD). I'd like to have different behaviour...

I am using Mac version 1291 and it does not have a spell check either. It will underline some misspelled words but will not suggest alternatives or automatically replace it with the correct spelling (so technically it has one but not in the traditional sense). Did you mean to post this in the Zimbra Desktop forums? Enabling or disabling calendar features would be something your administrator would manage if you are talking about the desktop accessing a zimbra account.. If you are talking about a non-zimbra account, I believe the Desktop just shows the calendar if it supports it. I don't think this can be configured other then during initial ...
