I'm also pretty flexible with judges. Though I am starting to pay more attention. There are some judges that are used all the time out here that design courses that are just fine for Rosey, but are miserable for Solo. And I am getting a little tired of 90 degree turns INTO weave poles that one judge has had both times she came to this area. Thanks for the recommendation about Judy. Colleen

Thank you, Kelly and Colleen! Gambler's is the easiest for both of us because I don't have to remember where I'm going and Star and run wherever and still get points. We are doing fairly well with the distance part. After today I hope that she'll be able to continue to run and be as athletic as she is.

Congratulations and the first Double Q . And you went from novice to excellent in 6 months! That is very impressive. Who is the judge for the standard course?? I haven't seen that much space between jumps in an AKC trial in months (can't wait for Laura English to get back out here to judge over New Year's). Colleen Keough

Today, at the Hiawatha Cocker Spaniel Club Specialty Show in St Cloud, MN., Gracie earned her third leg in Novice A Obedience and now has the title of Companion Dog. It is hard to put into words the pride and accomplishment I feel for Gracie. I am so proud of her. It takes a lot of time and work to earn this title and I have enjoyed creating a special bond with my little girl along the ...

Hi, Getting started in agility is much different from conformation. A show quality, conformation dog is much harder to come by and you really need a mentor to get started in breed. Agility is much easier to get involved in. There are agility associations for all levels of interests. You will need some basic obedience skills before starting agility. Some agility instructors have starter ...
