I know. But I have been going to my regular vet for 20 years. Father of one of my students. He also came to the house to put down my Shanty and I will be always appreciative.I am thinking about it though. I will see how he handles me saying she should be off the pheno. I am going to insist andif he is not receptive I will change.I think I want her on nothing for the seisuzes. She has not had that many and only one that was longer. 4 in 3...

wow a dog dermatologist. didn't realize there was such a thing. I certainly would rather spend money on that than a year's worth of trying all sorts of things, especially when this comes and goes. Anyone familiar with a dog dermatologist in the Dallas area?

I like to put in an old tee shirt that I slept in for a night or two in the crate so the new dog would have my scent to get used to. Vickies quilt idea is a good one too. If he chews it or has an accident, then you can take it out. Good luck.

Not sure how to explain this one. Home for the holidays seen our male cocker what appeared to be semi-paralized. Came over to my mom, not walking but more or less crawling and leaned up onto the couch and fell on her. He was shaking and I asked what was wrong? She said he has these little spells every once in a great while and they pass after a couple minutes. So as I was sitting across from her ...

I'm no expert, but I'd think with 2 pups all would be fine. I would just see how both reacted to each other while being held. I'll bet it goes good

Greetings and happy holidays, I wrote the following last year for one of my favorite magazines, BARK (the inventors of “Dog is my co-pilot”). With the holidays once again upon us, I thought I’d toss this information out into cyberspace as a timely reminder to avoid overindulging our dogs! I don't know whether they are available in the States, but here we can actually buy sweet potatoe chews just like you describe! And they are great. Having two dogs with food allergy issues, they really are an excellent alternative. I might just try making them myself to save some money. Vera

I bought a bottle of this at the only place around me that carries it. They only had the one bottle and I'm not sure how long. There is no expiration date on it? Does anyone that uses this know if it expires? Also, does it stain? I haven't used it yet b/c I want to know these answers first. Thanks

Crate training can start from the very first night you bring him home. He will probably cry a lot that first night because he's in a strange place. It might help to move his crate next to your bed so you can reach over and reassure him if he wakes up and starts crying. At 8 weeks old, you're going to have to get up at least once in the middle of the night to take him out anyway, so you might ...

Sarcoptic Mange is difficult to diagnose. Even if a skin scraping is negative, the dog can still have it. Did the vet tell you to treat for mange? Was Baylea put on ivermectin, intercept, or other type of treatment. Sometimes they dip the dog to kill the mites. If Baylea has this, Harley will get it. It is very contagious one dog to another. Humans can get it, although it is short lived as...

Does anyone here use Revolution on their dogs? If so, how does it work and have there been any problems? I don't see how one thing can take care og heartworm, fleas, ticks, ear mites and mange but I am interested if it is a better product or reduces the stuff they get put on/in them. Thanks
