You are most welcome ... glad that these have been able to help you ... Save them to a NotePad file and when you are bored, play with a test database and try them out and then try altering them for other fields and tables or with other conditions ... you would be amazed the dangerous things you can do when having fun ...

What version of Zen Cart is the site running? (look in Tools > Server/Version Info) The $this_is_home_page variable was only introduced in v1.3.7 if I recall corectly, so it wouldn't work in earlier versions.

This sales message is always there. And you modified your template already and set .tagline { font-size: 2em}. That is the reason why the text is soo big. And it wraps around because it doesnt fit behind your logo. And i think it is easier to develop a new template with Firefix + Firebug than IE 7. Good luck with your training.

DrByte and Rob, I can't thank you enough here. He not only added a htaccess file in the main zen folder but also under the admin/includes. So taken off. I went to your site, registered, went straight to Gallery and the images appeared. Usually when this question arises ... there are numerous things that can be done to speed up a site but often times they are unique to a site ... Without reviewing your site it makes it hard to speculate where the slow downs really exist ... How many Products? How many Categories? How many Attributes? How many Attributes per Product low count? average count? high count?...
