They aren't the exact size but an awesome deal. They're only $139.99 with free shipping. Thanks for the heads up. 185EZPERVERT

Getting ready to install a exhaust
Published (2009-12-13 19:09:00)
Look on Ivans Performance website. They offer a by-pass for this. Leave the servo plugged in until you get the by-pass. Also I hope you have a fuel programmer. There is always more to a bike than just putting in a exhaust.

I was thinking the jumper also told the ECU not to partially close the exhaust valve above 12k. But I forgot there was a lot of debating about what it actually does. Not that I care or it really matters cuz there won't be a valve anymore and there's no errors being tripped so it doesn't really matter. So, you're right, he doesn't really have to do the jumper.

Mirror Block Off Plates?
Published (2009-12-12 21:36:00)
Well, your race team buddies have the mirrors blocked off because you don't need mirrors on the track. As for everyone on the street with block off plates, it's for looks mostly. Some people do get rid of the stockers in favor of a bar-end mirror since the stockers are don't offer a whole lot of a view.

I just go through phases with it where the black always appeals.

I have a light smoke visor on mine. It's just enough to cut the brightness of a sunny day and I ride with it at night all the time as well. Now, if you are out in the country where there aren't any streetlights and it's really cloudy and such...it gets a little dark but I just throw on the highbeams and I'm good. I also picked up some riding glasses a while back just in case. That way, I can...

First of all, it is po-po, not poo-poo. Poo-poo is what you step in when you walk through a cow pasture. Second of all, I think that makes you an asshole. I don't believe "most" people on this forum have shared that experience with you. Most people on here that I have got to know are great people. You risk so many lives when you do that. Not just your own, but the public and the ...

I suppose I should start this off. My first motorcycle was a 1990 Ninja 750R, back when Kawi use to put the cool Japanese character writing on the lower fairings. I wish they still did that. Eventually went to a 2001 ZX-6R, then followed that up with a brand new 2002 ZX-12R which I fell in love with. I currently picked up a 2005 ZX-10R, but both the 10R and the 12R are out the ...

Depends on the brand of sprockets and chain. There are some cheap sets out there that can be had for about $150-175. When I have my tires mounted and balanced, they do it for $20/rim. Find out what they are putting on there and the cost then do the math.

Where I am, you have to have at least one by law. I would imagine it's the law in every state. I understand why you would remove them on a race bike but I would never want to be without them in traffic.

Yer pics didn't show up, might want to look into a photobucket account. The cables go to a servo motor that controls a butterfly valve. unhook the cables from the servo motor but don't remove the servo (black box). You have to pull your tail section off to unhook the cables.
