I've had the PS2 ZPs in stock sizes on for about 2,800 miles now. I absolutely love them. Previously I had the OEM tires, and then a set of PS2s in Viper sizes. These are superior to both in all respects. imo/ime

5-point harness/bar expectations
Published (2009-12-24 08:16:00)
I want to install a five - point racing harness and harness bar to keep me from sliding around in the stock seats at the track. Has anyone done this and want to comment on what to expect or what works and what does not work. i.e. I doubt wrapping the shoulder straps around the seat-back will provide adequate driver hold-in, and may require adding belt slots thru the seat-back for proper driver containment seat . I'm also thinking...

Poodlemaster. Try the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S ZPs. We have 275-40-18 on the rear of our 2002. That would be close for the front of your Z06. Bet they have a larger size that would work on the rear. I know from experience that the Goodyears are like slicks in the snow. I still have the Goodyears on my Z06 so it is in the garage, covered, with a float charger connected for the winter.

Rear side marker lights
Published (2009-12-22 08:54:00)
I wanted to run this by everyone to see if any of you have found similar findings. I usually don't drive my Z that much at night, but just happened to last week and noticed that both of my rear side marker lights were out. I don't remember if they worked or not when I purchased the car since I had not driven it in the dark to see. Anyway, it took me a little bit to figure out that you could not access them from inside the back of the...

I will be very interested in how you like the PS2 ZPs. I switched to Michelin A/S ZPs on our 2002. The difference in noise and ride quality was a huge improvement. We have 30,000 miles on the tires so far and they are wearing well.

Well to start ... these car are well known for being WAY out of alignment from the factory. Most get an alignment within the first 1000 miles. I have 24K on mine and have had 2 so far .... going in for my 3rd with this new set of tires. Second, depending on how you drive 15K is pretty good on stock GY tires. Third, dude you REALLY need to give your car a once over ever so often .... how the ...

Has anyone tried the stick on kits from Rvinyl or Headlight Armor? How did they turn out and how is the durability? I want something I can remove and also don't want a dark tint. I would prefer the stick-on lenses but they are too dark. Thanks
