lol I am not the best tech in the world but I will try! basically...the ecm is what tells the engine what to do based on what the engine is telling it via sensors. map sensor, maf sensor, knock sensor, etc. these tell the ecm what's going on as a result of the ecm's commands being sent to the ignition coils and the injectors. an ideal air-fuel ratio mixture is known as a stoichiometric mix. on a scale it is 14.7:1 one part fuel 14.7...

Now of course the tune for us 2.2 isn't night and day. I noticed a decent increase in responsiveness and power but the main thing Is that my rev limiter is at 7200rpm and i have no speed limiter either(only tested once). Plus if you ever go into more serious mods(cams, boost, nitruos) he will retune it for less than half the price of the first! Think it is like 75. I did data logging for awhile since at the time he didn't have many...

Do not see why it would not fit as there were no changes. It may not be CARB certified yet. I ran into same problem with my 2000 Ram, K&N had not updated their books and did not have the truck listed when I bought it so I got one for a 97 Ram and it fit great.
