I worried about bridesmaid dresses too, One of my BM lives with my dad in Isle of Wight, and the others are living close to me in Surrey. This makes it hard for us to get together, but i have organised a meeting with them all in early jan. Hopefully this will leave enough time!

Ooooo dizzygirl that sounds fab. Love the vintage summer ideas with that slight 70's twist to it. I bought some lovely wooden hearts and words (like love, laugh, etc) from ebay last week and I am going to hand paint them. I recently saw, in one of the magazines, an old style cake table, with cakes on stands, victoria sponges, french fancies etc. It looked very cool. I think they also had jugs of real lemonade and things! I think I am...

What colour is yours? Mine will be Ivory? Not sure how to make the pics bigger either I'm afraid. The dress was so flattering when I tried it on, but I've lost another 2 stone since then so hopefully it'll still look great.

Have you tried bio- gel nails? Or the ever lasting by Nails inc? Both need your own nails though, but seem to strengthen at look nice, and last about 3 weeks from what I remember. Also silk wraps are good if your nails are weak.

Hi Shimmer84...I think it can depend on where you are getting the dresses from as some shops or supplies may differ. As a timescale guideline, Im having two tea length bridesmaid dresses made from scratch to measure. We are having out first measure and make up for the template end of January and wont have the next fitting til Feb...give yourself plenty of time and once ...

We're going to the Seychelles. If all goes to plan weather wise, the monsoon season shouldn't start until a few weeks after we get back. It was quite expensive, cus it is a secluded island, so its £7,500 each
(H2B booked it without telling me the price!)
