sorry but none of your link do work. Also, from what i see, the g,skill memory kit you choosed are cl8 kit. At 1600mhz, you should be looking at cl7 or cl6 instead or look for 2000mhz cl9 kit. They will all cost roughly the same. Did a bit of search in newegg and i have found you 6 interesting kit all within your budget. Did not know ddr3 had become so common for AMD systems. And Dell's XPS line is using ddr3 and core i5/i7 at good prices.

Check your OC and voltages, too. Might be too low.

OK, looked slightly further into this. It seems many people with P6T (Deluxe and Standard), find that they loose some ram if they clock it faster than 1600. If you have 6 you loose 2, if you have 12 you loose 4. If anyone has this problem or a solution can they post it, (especially if they are using OZC ram)

Ah, thanks for the info about the 2000mhz ram option. seeing how they are sub $200 that makes my choices a little more interesting. I also fixed the links at the top.

The P5W DH is not a good overclocking board. The FSB maxes out at 380-410 and there is nothing you can do to improve that. Out of 10 boards I have one that will handle 400FSB pretty well. The rest will not boot! In answer to your question 800mhz DDRII would be ideal for this board... anything higher rated would be a waste of money. Other than that the board is a good one and will provide rock stable reliability for a long time (as long as the...

ddr2 is dead, its the same thing that happened with ddr1 when it died. most production moved to ddr3 as well as all current platforms so the supply of ddr2 isnt needed as its a legacy part. and legacy parts cost bank

This: DDR III 6144Mb (3x2048) PC12800 1600 Mhz Corsair (TR3X6G1600C8D) Kit of 3
For an overclock of 4GHz, DDR3 1600 is more than enough. That particular Corsair kit is good.
