Is anyone monitoring this forum? It seems to have been taken over by a bunch of jokesters. Rather useless for posting an actual request for a new feature.

Im an old hardcore user of X-Setup since the days it was freeware, but after that the programs existence totally slipped my memory, until today when i stumbled upon a link in another web forum. Now i am kinda eager to use it again, and could very well pay the price for it, no problems there. But i want to try the trial first, so my question is if that version is in any way limited in ...

Does the new version of X-Setup support Office 2007 (ie, the new Places Bar)? Can I modify the default Office Places Bar (delete and or move "places" that cannot otherwise be deleted or moved, such as "Trusted Templates")?

Which changes did you made with XSP? We have one computer with IE8 Beta, but this hasn't shown any of these bugs you have described.

I remember going into x-teq and changing this, but now I can't remember what I did. I'm using xteq X-setup 6.3, windows xp, sp 2. I changed to where Microsoft wouldn't always ask me to register. Now I'm trying to install a new media player and the stupid thing won't validate. The only thing I can figure out is that I changed the oem thing in xteq. Anybody know which wizard it's ...

I used X-Pro some years ago to fix white space in the add/remove programs within Windows. X-Pro then had a number of wizards for dunces like me. I have just downloaded X-Pro and I can't find any wizards at all and the program looks too complicated for a non-tech-head like me. I was able to join the domain with XP home but not with Vista Premium. It same with X-setup, under "network" "auto login" the "windows" tab is missing. Does anyone have a solution to add in Vista Home or Premium to the domain???? Thank you, Ben

Please tell me which Windows and Firefox version you are using. Also, please tell me the path where the plugin(s) that are not working, appear inside the XSP Classic tree view. You can easily copy this location by activating the plugin, then clicking on the "i" button on the toolbar and press "Copy path and name".
