I have no insider deal with Sirius. I just had my Customer Service matter resolved is all. When Sirius does me wrong, I know my rights as a consumer and I know where to turn. That was my point and with this final post I bid this forum adieu as well. I didn't realize when I started that I was posting on a private forum.

ATTN: ESCAPE I got some more suggestions for you. Check out this work from Michael Colone. His music plays on The Weather Channel on Christmas. http://www.youtube.com/user/EnchantingHoliday#p/a/u/0/W93whsuFoDA And here's a few from the Late Waldo De Los Rios: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZF9231KZeE&feature=PlayList&p=F1A2965BF76B832F&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=24

Actually, I prefer programming with short gaps between selections. When they segue everything, often the adjoining songs clash... different key, or if the first song doesn't end with a fadeout, the second song sometimes cuts off the last word of the first one. Kind of like the difference between a three course meal and stew. Stew has the same ingredients, but you can't really enjoy each one for what it is.

Aren't those songs being played to the point of nausea induction by at least three of your local FMs? Sheesh! Sirius XM actually thinks outside the FM box and STILL people here complain!

First off, two cheers for having this back again, even for a shortened run. Loved it last year, and the only real drawback to the channel last year -- its repetitiveness -- is mitigated by the quick in-and-out nature of this year's model.
But, a soft boo for running it on Laugh USA instead of, say, a more appropriately-themed-for-the-channel Special XMas encore and shifting Bing over to ...

Neither, although Traditions is playing some interesting older material. I prefer Holiday Pops or Classical Christmas or whatever they plan to call it this year. And I'm curious to hear if there's a new music mix on Country Christmas, which was dropped last year.

I've spent close to 40 years in the broadcasting industry, from 1000 watt daytime radio stations to 100,000 medium market FMs. Through my entire career, I have never heard so many operational errors and sloppy execution as I constantly hear on XM. Is anyone minding the store? While timing can not always be perfect in transitions, there is no excuse for running two programs at the same time (...

Are we to assume that the DirecTV corresponding channels will pick these up as well? I would think so, but no mention in the release unless I missed it.

First of all, these are not commercials. These are just little fun segments that accopany the music. There are other segments like messages from US military to their families. I personally like those Mrs. Santa segments. There may be a sponsor for the programming that they may mention in those segments but, in my opinion, who cares. Some people get too uptight on these forums about commercials ...

The Christmas Music is now playing. But Good Luck Finding it!
Sirius has failed to replace the station names with the temporary station names.

and you get the picture.
Bottom Line, Please put the ...
