That really isnt a smart idea, the plug on the end, steps down the voltage to the correct amount needed for the unit. If you use too much it will fry the player.

Assuming your antenna has a view of the sky, you either have a bad antenna or a bad tuner box.

Hello, I have an XM Delphi MyFi. When I try to set a recording for 5 hours it won't let that number in. I had to set it for 4 hrs and 55 minutes. My owners manual says that my radio only holds 5 hours worth of recorded music. Yet, when it was finished recording, there were still a lot of older songs on there that the new music didn't record over. Do I have to delete my old ...

I am new to XM radio - it came with my new car - but have really liked it. I'd like to get a portable model for use outdoors/on the beach primarily. After reading numerous reviews both here and on various websites, i'm very confused about reception issues. I understand there will be receptions issue with either one since it is satellite; however, i have major reservations about the XMP3...

I tested our Roady XT a few minutes ago. It starts as usual. Whenever any of my radios that are set to auto give me a problem, I follow the following steps. 1. Start the car and wait for the XM unit to start. 2. Manually turn off the unit (do NOT shut off the car) 3. Wait 1 minute or longer 4. Manually turn on the unit. This has fixed all problems with both my ...

I'm trying to get a handle on my new XMP3 player. In general I'm happy with it, except that the battery life is *hardly* the 16 hours for recorded content they advertise (more like 5). Do I have a bad battery or is something else going on? I'm wondering if anyone knows exactly what the Auto Record algorithm is. I'm assuming it only works if it's in the dock. Do I have to keep it ...

Even though my husband and I bought the leather sleeves for our XM Pioneer radios, mine fell out the other day and now I have no signal on my radio. I can only get a signal when the Pioneer is plugged into the dock. "MY XM" works just fine when I'm walking around town but again I have no signal for radio coverage. Where can I go to get this fixed? Will it be expensive to do so? Any ...

I am in a dilemma. I have researched these three units, and I can't decide which one to get. I've read every review imaginable on each one, and even though there is always a problem with each unit, they are still impressive to me. I need to get one ASAP, possibly by THIS COMING MONDAY OR TUESDAY, so I can install one of them before I go off for Thanksgiving. So, here's where ...

Alright. Sorry about the cord. I can't imagine the manufacturer being able to get a replacement. For some reason I thought this thread was headed in another direction.

Yesterday my Inno 's time switched to one hour ahead. Has anyone else time gotten messed up? I live in PA and I've gone through the settings and everything is where it needs to be, but somehow the time just changed. It did this to me at some point last year also. I wonder if they are getting ready to switch the servers or what not, but I would like the correct time.

Since I got my XMp3 I've had issues with dust getting under the display. I think it's getting in at the keys just below the display for menu, back, etc. Has anyone else had this issue? I've never had a device that has an issue like this. _________________ Got tired of Stern. Dumped BEST OF SIRIUS, 10/14/08 MEMBER OF THE "XM NATION" SINCE 5/2005
