That station plays MOR, Rock and Roll, Doo Wop, and some Country songs from the 1950s. I check internet radio sites more out of curiosity than anything else, as what I have on my hard drives when it comes to the years between 1935 and 1970 is more extensive than anything I have found with any site having free...

Okay, I is confused! I can't find that Elvis Presley ever recorded Oh Pretty Woman , but several lyrics websites - including http://www.lyricstime.com/elvis-presley-pretty-woman-lyrics.html and http://www.kovideo.net/lyrics/e/Elvis-Presley/Pretty-Woman.html - show it as an Elvis Presley song. Is it possible that Elvis did the song in concert and it was released as a bootleg recording? Those websites couldn't possibly be mistaken ,...

Yep, it played at 10:44 am Wed 11/25 on 80s on 8. Good tune. #29 in 1980. Buzz Feiten was a member of the Rascals, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Mr. Mister and Stevie Wonder's Band - not a bad resume!

WHYN was great right up until Clear Channel forced "Mix" on them back in 2000. They were doing a "mix" format that was broader than what CC forced on them (1950's through currents), plus local specialty shows, including the 80's timewarp lunch, 80's at 8, former WHYN-AM DJ Phil Dee on Friday nights with an oldies show and Frank Holler, given the boot by WDRC-FM, with "Jukebox...

Another great moment on the MTV Relics Channel: At 8:53 pm EST tonight (Fri. 11/27), voicetracked hack "VJ" Alan Hunter is babbling on about Thanksgiving weekend, eating too much, movies, all the cliches he could think of, and then says, "tonight's a big football night, too. Auburn is playing # 2 Alabama, it will be interesting to see if they can defeat unbeaten Alabama..." Uh, Alan: that game was...
