Grabbed this in a VM format on Friday. To call it buggy is an understatement, but it's hardly even an alpha yet, so that's expected.
In all honesty, i want to
get excited about it really badly, but i can't.
I have little to no use for anything like this. My eeePC can do anything this thing can and a whole lot more to boot. Unless they drop it on the market at sub-£150, why would anyone pick ...

Have you tried using the component cables (the
set of five color coded cables) that come with the 360? If your TV has those connections which I'm sure it does try using them. Component supports at least 720p and sound.
I'm not a big tech savvy guy either but I'm pretty sure VGA cables are really only used to tranfer the computer/laptop image to the TV.

Make sure it's not on hold when you're trying to do this
On the summary page make sure the "Manually Manage Music and Videos" box is ticked
If it doesn't work after this, you may need to just restore the whole thing..only do this as a last resort though

I use Sony Vegas Pro. 8 for my videos. It is easy to use once you get it and I like the effects though I don't use much as I am not insane about effects and prefer to match the lyrics and clips together.
I have heard that
Adobe After Effects and Sony Vegas together are a great combination for effects overall. I am looking into getting After Effects as I have heard that it has better effects...

agreed. Vista is a
resource hog but still a solid OS.Win 7 is a slimmed down verison of Vista with new stuff so you should have upgraded to it. Yea as near stated its most likly a driver problem.
