Hello Jaxyrl, Glad to see that you have managed to get this resolved :) The issue is that it depends where you log in from. If you log in from eu.battle.net then you're already on the correct "account home" page. However if you log in via account management on wow-europe.com you need to physically click the home button to get to the "change security options". Hope this has cleared things up for you!

I've had this Bug for a year now. It started after WotLK came out I think. ANd since I have almost 50 chars in this account (Yes I'm an alt-o-holic) it gets really annoying at times. But I've just learned to relog to change realms. Didn't really even think that it was a bug... oh well, maybe it gets solved now. :)

Hi Mknight,
You have not updated your account to Wrath of the Lich King using the CD key in your box. Sign in at Account Management and if you scroll down, you'll see an option to upgrade, which will ask you for the Wrath of the Lich King CD key when you click it. This should be on your Wrath of the Lich King manual or your CD case and once you do that, your account will be upgraded.

Reason I ask is a common scam email is about "account selling" asking you to send in infomation

We have a lot of Chinese players who would be offended to read your comments concerning their responsibility in the compromise of your account and would ask that you don't make such comments without considering how they can be interpreted.
In addition, we handle customer details with due care and proper regard for security, so there are never incidents where your account details...

You get an option to return the item within 2 hours of purchase for a full refund, so if you bought it a few days ago it is unlikely the GM's will help you.
As a side note, Swords are much better in Arena due to the extra swing over some Armor Pen, which you can get from gems/trinkets etc.

I bet your characters will be restored and I hope faster then my characters, average wait time 8 - 18 hours on ticket, and 1-2 more days for restoring characters, but that what happening to me, good luck with faster response at your tickets and restoring your characters :)
Edit: I think GM will help you with renaming your character when it will be restored.

Now, as this was done in september, characters may be recovered, and some of the gear, but it might be not possible to get it all back, or perhaps it won't be possible at all. I'm not sure, but there might be some complications with this due to the long time since the deletion.

Well if you did nothing wrong then I guess it will be solved for you. But there is no tme line for Account Admin servises. I guess it would probably be from week to 2 weeks. Or it could be less than that.
And I think what caused this is the ammount of Gold you sent your friend. Lets just say that you are very lucky to have 15k most of the time. ;) But I wish you all the best and hope you get ...

That is a fake email. You will see it asks for your Account password, Blizzard will NEVER EVER ask for this.
Ignore the email, it is a known fake. Trash it and enjoy wow. :-)

Ok apparantly your account was compromised. You should check you computer for viruses/malware/keyloggers to make sure your computer is secure. And please don't post account details on the forums... That's just asking for trouble.
