I imagine in arena, you are bouncing around a bit less. I've had some decent crits off of like 2 cp envenom's. And with the poison application buff after you use envenom, it's easy to get it up to 5 stacks after the first envenom.

JC/BS is recommended unless you do Engineering and use all the CDs religiously.

Last I heard if you can get 4+ pieces of 232/245 gear, you can drop the T8 bonus and not loose DPS. I would assume that that translates into a ruptureless cycle, but someone else can correct me.
If all else fails, target dummy it. Hopefully someone recommends a good spreadsheet.

shadowstep** is more fun, but i dont think it has the burst that mute has
if your teammates kick azz and your getting focused more it may be better for you to pick up deadened nerves in the assassination tree for mute
but if you really want to go sub pick up ghostly strike and cheat death in your 27/0/44 build

Mut is the better build in so many ways but nothing compares with the havoc you can wreak as Shadowdance. Vids like this reinforce my love of Sub BG PvP.

victor's call is the single worst high end trinket in the game, expertise's MAEP goes down very steeply once you start getting near or at the exp cap
it isnt as good as crit, hit, or ArP
long story short, No, victor's call is terrible. even more so for combat since your finishers can not be dodged
