Bed and Breakfasts

Having just noticed that you come from the UK, did you mean 20 euro per person per night rather than 20 US dollars? That will get you a hostel bed, or maybe a room in a convent, but it won't get you a b&b or hotel. Rome is only a little cheaper than London for accommodation, if at all, and the euro is more or less equivalent to the pound. You would not expect to get a 'nice' UK double room in a London...

In all conscience - even if I knew of such a place, I could not recommend it to anyone. The least expensive decent accommodations in Rome are in convents - some have no curfews. If interested, I will gladly post for you.

You will be unlikely to even find a hostel bed for that price. Rome is a popular tourist destination all year round, and prices reflect this (just as they also reflect the cost of living in a large European city). At that price, even if you could find somewhere (very unlikely, imo), I doubt 'nice' would enter the equation. Have a look at www.hostelworld.com www.hostelbookers.com...
