Brisbane to Uluru by car is about 3000ks one way, so you are looking at 6000ks return. From Brisbane, you would head through Toowoomba to Roma, Blackall, Barcaldine, Longreach, Winton,Mt. Isa, Alice springs to Uluru, this would be the most direct route. Depending on what time of the year you travel as to the time it takes, as if in storm season and there is plenty of rain, often large areas ...

These are all awesome suggestions. Yes i am fairly familiar with Australia. I've driven down the coastal route before, and would like to go Inland this time. We are hoping to do the trip as quickly as possible Max 4 or 5 Days. So im looking for places/sights that are off the beaten path and dont take to long to observe/do.

This really is a tricky situation. When calls are unsuccessful normally only going to places involved in person helps. But obviously you have done this. I wonder why the Australian consulate and Embassy could not help you. Have you checked out the application status? https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/inquiry/query/query.d o?action=eVisa If the application got stuck in the system perhaps ...

Going on your own will be fine. Staying in hostels/backpackers is a great way to meet people of your age from all around the world. These places also have kitchens where you can cook your own meals, most have meals at night at a very cheap rate. The backpacker/hostel experience will be something you will always remember. As someone has mentioned, check out a very good map of Australia and see ...

Hi,I have just had a look at some of the reviews on tripadvisor and they are not very good. The location is ok,in South Perth--and the photos of the apartments look really nice. What some people are advising is that you can get better elsewhere. Go into Drakes Apartments,Perth,Australia and have a look at the reviews for yourself. Good luck.

hi! Some answers to your questions. 1. At backpackers hostels there are often campers advertised for sale. Some do have fridge, stove, it really depends on the size and brand of camper. 2. Gas here is LPG, Gas to you is Petrol here. Away from the cities, especially outback Australia expect to pay a lot more for fuel than in the cities. There are long distances between garages in quite a few ...

I recommend that you hire a car. Gas costs approx A$1.20 per litre.Having a car will give you flexibility. There IS a bus that goes north from Cairns to Port Douglas, cost is A$35.00 one way pp. From Cairns you could drive north for 1 hour and get to the best town on Queensland Coast- PORT DOUGLAS. It has an amazing beach ( 4 MILE BEACH) and is the closest town to the Great Barrier Reef. ...

If you only intend to visit an area within about 100 - 120km of Perth, 5-7 days will give you plenty of time to have a good look around - 2 or 3 days to explore Perth CBD and environs - visit the art gallery and museum, the Perth Mint, King's Park, the Bell Tower, window shop in King Street precinct - Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, Burberry, Gucci etc, take a ferry ride across the river to South ...
