Hi I think that most hotels will accommodate your two children- they are quite young, and hotels often supply fold-up beds for kids.Best is to enquire at a few - email them with you request. In KL, there are many great attractions. The Petronas Towers are a must. The Batu Caves (just outside city) are very old and amazing Hindu caves which are fascinating to visit. LOTS of steps to get up to main cave. A taxi can get you there. Chinatown...

What is the address for your hotel? Do you have this hotel name spelled right? Pratunam Princess or is it the Pathumwan Princess? http://pprincess.com/Default.aspx If it is the Pathumwan Princess that hotel is not cheap compared to other places in Thailand, might be kind of tacky to take a bus to that hotel. If your flight lands late at night there is no bus option for you. When you leave the arrivals hall you will be surrounded by touts...

Chiang Mai lodging recommendations
Published (2009-11-23 19:25:00)
There are no direct flights from Siem Reap to Chiang Mai (at least there were none when we were there in March). You have to go via Bangkok. Siem Reap Airways used to do this link, but they have lost their licence, I believe. We did a three-day trek, but don't have the company we did this with handy. I will look this up later and post.

first of all, id skip osaka since youre going to be in tokyo anyway. and would include definitelly visiting the himeji castle as a half a day trip from kyoto or on the way to hiroshima. you havent mentioned whether you have already bought the japan rail pass (since transportation is quite expensive in japan) so that we would know whether or not transportation is included in the money youre having. so if transportation is already paid for,...

Have you asked the hotel what services they offer? Or if they provide can provide a list of registered and approved child carers? Or are you hoping to recruit some unknown person with an unknown history, via a travel forum? This is a Travel Forum and not an employment agency. Please read the guidelines.

Camping?
Published (2009-11-27 08:50:00)
Hi - there are places that you can camp - mostly in the north - but most are run by some kind of tour or adventure company. There aren't really places or even campgrounds where you could set up a tent (nor would you want to) the way you can in other countries. If that is what you are looking for then there are some really stunning places for trekking/camping.

Hong Kong rarely has long lines - you should be ok - make sure to look on the web for the assigned gates prior to departure so you know where you are going and wont waste time once on the ground

Yes, you can get a heli ride to the top. It takes about 30 minutes. There is also a skyway tram up to the City of Entertainment. Take a look at these tips. Both the Skyway and heli ride information is there.

I am not sure what I told you last time but do remember lynnehamman giving some good advice. I will just add, that you need to remember to also include Fatehpur Sikri in your day to Agra. A good idea is to get a driver/guide in some places. India has some of the world's best guides, and it is relatively inexpensive.
If at all possible, stay overnight in the Lake Palace Hotel in Udaipur. It ...

Well, my feeling is that both cities are quite different, so it all depends what you want to do and see there. Ive been to Beijing, one week in September this year, and HK is my next destination, so I havent been there yet.
Beijing is steeped in history, and then of course it has its major drawcard - being the Great Wall, and not visit to Beijing should be complete without a visit to the Wall...

Although Nepal is my number one Love, I think you might well be better giving it a miss on this trip and concentrating on India !! And even then, 3 weeks is still a short time to see so much as transport tends to be slow by train and bus, and to fly you just miss so Much !!

Vietnam Airlines flies between Siem Reap and Hanoi as well as Hanoi and KL. You can book online at their website. I'd rather go to Hanoi than HCMC because because Hanoi is the jump-off point to Halong Bay where you should go for an overnight cruise, looks like your allocated time there would allow it anyway. I would certainly replace Jakarta with Bali, as Bali is so much more peaceful, exotic ...

Hi, I would not send 50% possibly 10% but otherwise no. When I was in Vietnam a poster contacted me and gave me the name of a tour operator he uses. I requested costs from him and another operator in Vietnam. I think his name was Phillip and operated out of Nha Trang, anyway his was by far the cheapest, we were met at the airport in HCMC, picked up 4 days later we opted for our own itinerary ...

Bangkok is huge. You could probably walk around the central areas in Chang Mai. The other places are fairly walkable. Better to rent a bicycle though. It's very hot there! Walking can be extremely tough. You lose a lot of sweat. Also I usually feel funny from all the hot air that is going down into my lungs. It's a strange feeling!

For most people Bangkokis an easy city to get around in and it's relatively cheap. Most of the taxis are metered and if they are not just wait for the next one to come by. Buses are frequent but may be a little hard to understand, but you can always ask someone, the Thai's are friendly and helpful. The easiest is the BTS and the MRT and you can get maps at most hotels or at the stations. They ...
