My favorite CoD mission!!! Being pinned at the antitank gun with Krauts coming at me from all sides was the best gaming experience I have had. I played it on hard, and let me tell you, manning that MG-42 on hard was a suicide order! I saved my Bren ammo from the previous mission and gunned the Germans down from on the top of the bridge, then ran like hell. Good game.

Go where they ain't. In this day and age it is stupid to attack like you saw in A Bridge Too Far. Decide where you need to cross, seize the far shore and reinforce rapidly. Better yet, get 5 - 25 kilometers BEHIND the defenders which forces them to pull back from the river. IF you have to do an assault river crossing, you can bet the far shore will have the snot blasted out of it....and will use up a year's allocation of smoke...

Nice, taking the slaughter of protesting civilians in an open-square environment to new hieights. I wonder if it is accurate enough to kill by slicing a human in half with one shot, as opposed to the HE or frag killing them. In seriousness, I wonder how it will fare in combat...gunners necessarily tend to suffer from tunnel vision, and the driver has to focus on driving. It must be ...
