Monthly visit or not???

your bodies hormones are 'waking up' and it will take some time to back into its own natural rhythm. the most important thing to take notice of, is your cervical mucous (CM). This is what is going to be letting you know when your body is attempting to ovulate. sometimes after coming of birth control your body can attempt several times before it actually does ovulate. Do you know much about CM? and how to tell what is fertile CM?...

Tizzy, i haven't been back here for a while and haven't taken the estroven pms for a few months either because I did a cleanse where i was not suppossed to use any type of vitamin or supplement. The cleanse in itself helped to relieve the pms symptoms as well. I avoid taking salt, caffeine, cigarretes or anything that is not organic now. I am convinced there is a correlation with what we put in our bodies and the symptoms of this...

Guys if a doc suggests an IUD, don't be afraid of it. It's not a popular birth control/period control method in the US, but it's VERY popular pretty much everywhere else. They're suggesting the Minera, I presume? The one with hormones?

Week early period last two months??
Published (2009-12-01 23:58:00)
Well, my periods have been like clockwork for quite sometime.. Last two months though, they've been a week early (each month) I used to get my periods in the middle of the month, around maybe the 12,13,14, it never strayed far from those days if at all. But in November I ended up with a little surprise on the 6th.. everything still went as usual though, still lasted the 6 days, cramps on the 2nd day only, like mine always are. This month,...

Calm down. I understand being worried but you've taken two tests AND had your period....not to mention you never had sex.
I think you're just fine. If it will make you feel better, take another test in two weeks.

On Depo provena I didn't get my period.
Which was the intention.
You might be so stressed out you
won't get it.
Studies all over the world have proven
over and over again that a stressed out
woman will not get her period.
It's a survival trait.

Could there possibly be a hormonal imbalance in your body?

First off, I'd like to say hello, since I'm new here.
Anyway, in the last year, my period has gone from pretty regular to kind of screwy. Some months it's a few days late, and other months it's been early. However, it's been the same regular red discharge until now. Last month's period came super late. Like, "I think I'm pregnant" late. I wasn't, and my period came about 10 days later than ...

I haven't had any of those but yeast before. How is your pH? Do your doctors ever monitor it and advise you to keep it balance (and how to do it)?

I feel your pain, almost-- I'm 23 (w/ no history of cervical, vaginal, or uterine cancers in my family... that I know of) and I'm on day 31 of what seems like a never ending period. My doctor seemed to think it was hormonally-birth control related, but that was a week ago and I disagree. I was on ortho tricyclen lo for 2 years and was so regular I could predict to the hour when I would start. In ...

I think when you change something, in this case, the IUD, being removed, your body has to re-adjust, naturally because you've taken out the foreign object so your body is confused...
If you haven't had your periods for 6 years, you can't expect it to be "normal", straight away....
I was say your body is purely trying to re-adjust to living a normal pattern after all this time.

Hi rah, I['ve moved your thread out of Menopause and placed it into this section.
There are certainly other methods of birth control other than Yaz, as well as other pills that may be more suitable.
She definately needs to discuss this with her Doctor and have them explain all the different options to her.
I know that here, there are 6 monthly implants for instance, that appear to ...

It is possible after pregnancy occurs. Was it a normal period? if it was earlier than usual and if it didn't really feel like a 'period' i.e. with all the signs and symptoms that usually go with it, then it could very well be an implantation bleed i.e. when the fertilised egg implants into the endometrium. In this case you still count the pregnancy from the date of your last real 'period.'

Hello Supergirl101!
Many doctors neglect to inform women of the many side effects that the pill can cause. if this has not happened to you before and you have just started taking the pill, I would most certainly say that YES it is the pill! It does not agree with many many women and this can play out in many many ways.
Are you taking it for birth control? if you are, there are actually ...
