Hey sweet, seems you've been through a bit over the last few years. I have had cramps, which has extended down my leg, had me double over, from either a tilted cervix, and intercourse, before my period, or IBS, which upsets your bowels and creates pain. It has always gone away and doesn't happen very often, once in a blue moon. If you've had trouble going to the loo, in that regard it could also be IBS, overload of air, or...

How is Aunt Flo - is it still on schedule? Could it be your pH? when was the last time you've seen your doctor? Were you two exclusive? I just want to know (but you don't have to answer if you prefer not to). Any itchiness, burning sensation when you pee?

Vaginal thinning and Estrace
Published (2009-12-16 15:19:00)
I've been having a slew of annoying vaginal symptoms lately - dryness, stinging, pain and burning. I've been through repetitive treatments for yeast and BV to no avail. My pH is said to be normal. The symptoms are very cyclical, occuring during the second half of my cycle up until my period. I saw a vaginitis specialist yesterday who gave me Estrace cream to apply twice daily due to vaginal thinning. He said I'm very...

Way too much discharge
Published (2009-12-18 06:26:00)
Hi, For nearly 3 years now I have suffered with excessive vaginal discharge. All smears come back normal, and the discharge is not smelly, but it does itch a lot of the time, and my vulva is constantly swollen, and sore. I have been admitted to hospital twice for exploratory examinations, firstly to make sure I had not left a tampon inside, and secondly for a colposcopy and to cauterise the area that produces discharge. I have also used...

The pain might "feel", that it's travelling to those regions but in fact is still at the bottom of your abdomen.
Wind is one think that can get blocked and cause this pain.
Try to drink a fair amount of water, healthy greens, and no meat for a week and just see if it goes away, it can be your diet.
If not, best to get checked out, in-case there is a small infection of some sorts, or a...

I might not have the info you're needing, but I decided to pop in to tell you that you need to relax no matter how hard it seems to be. Tampons seemed to have irritated you, so maybe napkins for now...
Don't wait for your GP though it is good that you have an appointment set already. I would also set an appointment with an OB-GYN. When I had my first visit, I just did it on my own - I didn't ...

Stress, as well as a fairly new birth control brand that your body's probably still getting used to. It's called "spotting" and is totally normal. There are tons of topics on this in this section of the board, have a search.

hmm...I would talk to a doctor about it. Any time you have unusual secretions, you should talk to your doc.
When you're fertile, you discharge a sort-of egg white looking secretion. Is this different than that? It sounds like that may be what it is...especially if the secretions only happen once a month. If they're more spread out and sporadic, then it's not fertility.
But yeah...talk to ...

Hi Empathy,
if your period is due in 2 weeks, then this bloating and cramping could be due to ovulation. Ovulation occurs 11- 14 days before period starts. and if your period is normally long then it looks as if your body is attempting to ovulate a few times before it actually follows through.
Stress has a big part to play in delayed ovulation, which then in turn has a bog part to play in ...

Hello Emily
There are many reasons for why this can happen. It could be something as simple as a muscle strain to something that needs to be checked out.
I suggest you see a doctor or go to a gynocologist just to make sure its nothing serious. They will be able to help you.
Good luck

Regular cramps is my best guess. The tissue of your uterus will contract in different locations, each time it does you can get a feeling of different parts of your abdomen in pain.

I wish I could help you with that. I also suffer with endo. My GYN offered to give me the Lupron inj., but I have opted to have a hysterectomy instead. I have had endo for 8 years and the symptoms are getting worse. I am 35, and I told my GYN that I would rather do the hyst. than the injections.
I hope everything works okay for you.

Hi Lynn, welcome to the Forum.
Firstly, their job is very clinical and unfortunately, to find a good gyno that also explains things and makes women feel comfortable seems to be very hard to find.. Which is sad all they do in reality is create more anxiety.
So, try to take a few deep breathes.
