Epson 3000?
Published (2009-12-01 22:07:00)
I have inherited an Epson 3000 Stylus printer in pristine condition. It does not want to print in color, just black and white. Though the installation disk is specified as only for Window NT and before, I did find XP drivers that enable it to be recognized by my XP SP3. It connects via LPT1. I have tried cleaning the print heads to no avail. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with this printer and might be able to suggest something...

I'm running Windows XP on a Dell Insipron 8600. I tried hooking up an external monitor to the VGA connector on the back and no display showed. Should it automatically? Without the need to make some change in Device Properties to make it happen? I should say that the laptop monitor itself has gone all white so that is why I'm trying to hook up an external monitor.
