My almost completed Burj Dubai Version 4.0 (version 1 is below, 2-3 were scaled wrongly and had to be started over from scratch. Emerging information suggests this model is with in 2% of the real thing in all dimensions. Interior of the office skylobby. A portion of it is double height. Exterior Comparison to ESB

Some interesting pictures of Canary Wharf. Sometimes incorrectly stated as being a bit of an American CBD, its something seen more like a modern Venice with docks and skyscrapers. What is even more amazing is to think that less than 20 years ago, this area (and most of the other Docklands area) was used as the primary production site for the second half of the movie Full Metal Jacket - ie the ...

I was recently visiting family in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain (arguably ;-)). Beijing Capital's new Terminal 3, the worlds largest airport and worlds largest building by floor area: It was built in 4 years and jumped passengers from 21 million in 2000 to 54 million in 2008, ranking from 47th to 8th in that time.
