Re: November at Heathrow Hello, yes I was aware they changed round (as I said earlier), but just to have a diagram of the different runway names is useful as I can never remember what all these are half the time (and there's only 4 of them!), so if someone refers to, say, 27L, I just have to take an educated guess what one it is!! __________________ The Britten Norman Islander is a small twin engined plane used for short flights with...

Do you happen to know if the Iranians are still operating the SP's to South America ? I have seen video-footage of it somewhere at FL350.com, Just curious if they still were. It's just that it would be an eye-candy for me to see it from such a long way from home :-) Great photos. - Welcome to the W900. Enjoy your stay and keep those pictures coming.

Day 10, 07. October A new day a new airport. I slept a little bit longer on this morning due to the extensive shopping tour the day before. I started at 10 am and after short ride westwards I arrived (without any traffic jams) at around 11am Los Angeles Int'l Airport. Not much to tell about this day. I was there until 4.30pm before I left the famous Imperial Hill and headed to my pre-booked ...

Day 2, 28. Sept When I woke up my first view went out of the window to check the weather. Blue skies and no rain. Perfect weather for plane spotting. So I decided to walk immediatly to the Avis station at the Government Centre to take my car and drive to the airport. The problem at Boston is that almost all spotting locations are not very close to the airport and the huge amount of Runways...

Day 9, 06. October My first thoughts when I woke up, "how will I survive the next three days without a single flight". Just kidding. I was happy to enjoy mother earth from the ground and didn't have to enter a plane for the next days. Ok lets start. My first target for this day was the administration office from the airport which was already open and I asked for a tour. The airports ...

Nice to see an airport that isn't one of the usual suspects, although some of your pictures are a tad too dark, and you need to check the focusing also. I'll have to get out to Prestwick and Glasgow some time, but I imagine Glasgow will be uber paranoid about things, so I wont be there with a Jeep!! Actually, I've always wanted to photograph the trains on that stretch of line that runs ...

SFO - LAS (13:40 - 15:15) Virgin America VX0908 Airbus 319/N525VA I decided to drop my bag at the Virgin counter because I didn't want to carry it for the next 3 hours. The lady offered me an earlier flight to Las Vegas but I had to pass. My plan was to visit the parking garage to make some pictures. When I arrived a few minutes later on the top level of the garage I recognized that I ...
