Codeweavers has given up on FileMaker Pro 9 http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=3635 and so have I. I've rebuilt the database I built last week in FMP9 on a Windows machine as a Kexi database (KOffice app running under Gnome). For what I want, Kexi's just fine. Many thanks for the help in jumping the hurdles, tho.

I heard that Wine uses Windows apps like Notepad, Wordpad, Regedit, etc... Is this legal? I mean, aren't these owned by Microsoft, making them proprietary??? Thanks.

Hello all. I recently installed Kings Bounty- Armoured Princess on my Ubuntu Karmic 64bit system. The install itself went fine and the game starts up perfectly, with all intro movies playing. However, on actually starting the game and attempting to click on one of the buildings to enter it the game freezes. Here is the terminal output:

I'm using Bluewhite64, a Slackware derivative. Lately, my computer is hard locking within 2 seconds when selecting the audio tab of winecfg.
