I kind of agree with you and usually I follow the same policy that you do. The only reason I did what I did is due to the purchase of a laptop with Vista Home Premium 64 bit and I liked the 64bit thing a lot so decided to upgrade both the desktop to 7 and 64 bit and since I have an "in" with Microsoft and the cost was acceptable I decided to bite the bullet and just do it. I will continue to struggle along working out the...

Hi Arrow, Welcome to Windowsbbs!
Since you want to remove Microsoft Office 2003 then I would run Revo Uninstaller to remove the rest of Microsoft Office 2003.
When you say that Windows Installer won't leave your programs alone, what does that mean exactly? Does Windows Installer popup when you run other programs?

hi,
We come to learn that when we get good freewares....I do always donate cause I think it is only fair....one way the architects of those subsidize their endeavors, is to hook up with such as search engines and toolbars, etc.
Even including CCleaner, and when it tells me there is a new build and I install it, I am always careful to say no thanks to the Yahoo thingy.....I don't feel ...

Was running PCPITSTOP and was informed I was using an old version of Paint Shop Pro and may run into problems. The recommended a free version similar to it but I can't remember what they suggested. Any help here would be appreciated.
