Hi bamaman66. I recently switched to Eudora Mail. Maybe I can help, although I haven't been using it very long.... I am using Eudora 8.0 beta 7. You may want to look under the view tab. I have a check mark next to Display Attachments Inline. The location that Bob D gave for choosing where to save attachments is the same location for me.

Here are the pics from running the SvchostAnalyzer. I ran it during an episode of svchost running at 50%. The svchost that had the high cpu did not show anything unusual pursuant to the analyzer though. Can anyone decipher these pics?

I have used the v.1.5.5.2 of the Registry Cleaner in XP with excellent results. It was in english too. The new version appears to be beta, with no possibility to make the "donate" screen disappear once and for all and appears to be in spanish only? (from what it says in the page, didn't try it).

I got it, but how the HELL does IE cause all the AV and malware apps to not be able to download?
IE had a loopback IP and port in it, then I reset all of IE settings back to default and restarted it and when I did the apps updated.
WoOT!

i can't say before as I've never run manual incrementals. I run the continous incrementals thru out the day, and I don't mess with them. Sometimes a reboot or something major on the system will cause a real slow next incremental.
If I want to do a manual image, I kill the incremental job, do what I want, and then restart the incremental job as a new one. Don't know for sure if it's ...

What have you been using, and why do you want to change? I've used Acronis True Image for a long time, and I'm always satisfied with it. I still use v9.0, and have not felt the need to upgrade. Many, many years ago I used PowerQuest's Drive Image. Remember that one? Anyway, count me as one of the people who have good things to say about ATI.

One or two processes running on the computer after its installation are
same as when I installed Rollback Rx. It does not appear to be a clone,
more of an illegal copy to me. I will test it for a couple of days and see
if it gives me any problems.

Though this is not a solution to your problem, but if you download and install Prio , and then in the task manager hold your mouse on the problematic svchost.exe, it will tell you the services hosted by that particular svchost. It is a good way to narrow down which service is actually causing the CPU load.
Edit: Oops! It seems that you already know which service is causing the problem.
