Devang23, The reason why everyone is giving you shit is the same reason why your idea would not work. You just do not understand the industry, which makes sense since you are not involved in it. I have a computer science degree as well and I have worked on web development. The truth of the matter is you would be better off knowing the industry and no programming, than knowing programming and not knowing the industry. The truth of the matter is...

Easy way to promote website
Published (2009-12-16 11:50:00)
Dude seriously? There is a whole section of the forum called "Traffic". I mean I know this is the noobies section but what it is not is the I'm a lazy fucker and won't look at the section titles so I'm going to ask very general stupid questions that don't benefit anyone. Bottom line if another website has traffic going to it there is a way to get traffic from it either free or paid. But there's always...

Call Center?

This traffic my company generates. I'm not hiring a call center to generate leads for us. We generate the leads and verify them so the turnover rate would be 85% or higher. I'm just wondering what would be the best way to submit these leads to EDU Campaigns if I have a call center.

Even if you know what to do, the general idea behind getting a network started is having connections with affiliates that will legitimately sell products. Then you have to go out and build relationships with the businesses. I don't doubt that you know how it works, but if you're just getting in the game, then you probably don't have the necessary connections to get these affiliates and businesses to your company.

normally FB has started out the bids high for me and i lowered them as my CTR went up. Won't this effect that strategy? Also, I feel I have got a lot more leads via CPM vs. CPC. Obviously the ad is shown more... but I feel CPC goes south for impressions real quick (regardless of bid)

Just look at how much you're currently paying CPM and then create an ad, it will say suggested bid '0.20-30' or something like that, if that number is lower than the number you see from step 1 then bid CPM instead of CPC. Simple as.

start as an affiliate first. learn the industry, master it and after 4-5 years you can try to open your own network but you will probably get crashed by competition anyways. your programming and web design skills sure are nice but everybody got those so in the end, experience in the industry will separate you from others.

I have a crazy idea that might help you out: send each ad's traffic to its own landing page! Hell, you can copy and paste the targeted page ten times if that's the way you want to do it. Or... maybe use a link management system to redirect to the final landing page, with your stats logging page sat in the middle?

Silence can sometimes mean that things are going well...or that the project got totally dropped. When I first came to WF, I read everything I could then disappeared only to start posting again yesterday. In the meantime I did a lot of dumb things and a lot of good things. He is definitely doing it right, read for a little bit then act.
