I don't know how a team that wasn't .500 but added Mark Teahan and a 43 year old Omar Vizquel becomes a 90 win team. I hope they fix the bullpen and find a couple of hitters.

I recorded the games last night on DirecTV and wow. Big Frank was hitting .383 at the all-star break ('94) with a .795 SLG . I have to say it was really cool hearing Bob Costas, Joe Morgan, and Bob Uecker absolutely praise Frank Thomas for what an amazing player Frank was at the time. I knew the Big Hurt was good but I didn't know he was THAT good. Another tidbit: His OBP was .515!! Wow.

I renewed. It was never in doubt, but Omar Vizquel really pushed it over the top. If they can bring back Corky Miller, I may have to add additional seats.
