Badly.
Rumoured to be interested in
Drogba.

If Arsenal lose, I'd pi$$ myself. I seriously don't think it'll happen though.

Not a bad assessment,
As a pool fan I hope we can do it this year, we've still got the main core of our squad and added in Johnson who will give us a bit of attacking options at
fullback. Xabi'll be a big loss if he goes, not many players who can control the tempo of the game like him.
I still think we'll see a 1 more big signing if Xabi goes, maybe Silva or Aqualani of Roma.

Robbed, really. And by a really cr@p outfit - it will be seen as an even worse decision if they somehow (with the help of more miracles, Msr. Platini) win the competition as they don't deserve to be their in the first place. Although I thought France should have got the penalty when Given brought down Anelka in Extra Time as there was contact - the Irish were lucky
not to lose their keeper, ...

Dare I say it but Spurs are looking a real force for next season with some of the signings they've made!
Bentley, Modric, Dos Santos, Gomes and Bostock - don't know much about the last two - and bids in for Capel and may be Pavlyuchenko.
They look like better players than they bought last summer anyway.

Only Deco (not sure I'd call Bossingwa a "big" signing). I'm not
authorised to discuss with you the others that Roman has in the pipeline.

I'd forgotten we had this thread!
We were utter, utter pish. Really awful, and going a man down didn't help.
Unfortunately it's looking like we won't be going to South Africa, but at least I'll have plenty of other teams to support hehe
How
times have changed from when we were beating the likes of France home & away. :(
Burley has to go.

As an antidote to the Bad boy footballers thread I've decided to create the "Good boy footballers thread" - balance in the world is restored.
The first of hopefully many posts:
Didier Drogba donates £3 million to help build a hospital in Ivory Coast.
And apparently Abramovich has agreed to match it
pound for pound.
Outstanding.

A two tier Premier League and no
relegation from it? Possibly adding the Glasgow teams? None of it sounds good to me.....
