Welcome! How nice to have a newbie drop in. Please tell us a little bit about your paintings. For example, the paper that you used, how large your paintings are and which
pastels you used. If you would like comments, just put "C & C welcome" in your thread and some of the most knowledgeable, kind and generous pastelists will help you out. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

I can see why they sell so readily, they are lovely!
Can you tell us how you frame them? Plain glass or? Gold strip frame or?
Thanks
Tom - may you enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family!
I wouldn't give up on the large ones just yet - I find that market still exists!

different color combinations than what I would normally use. Another goal in this first set was to limit the number of pastels to 4-7 colors and a completion time of ...

You do many more still lifes than I do Celeste so I hope you don't mind a few questions. Do you try to position your objects so that none are equally distant
from the edge? Does that even matter? Does something like your candle holder have to connect with the other things - maybe by just a shadow - or can it exist on its own? I get stumped before I ever begin because I don't know how to ...
