Well, it IS a green light Things are okay Dark green is the color of the bile pigments, and with a normal route, it gets mixed right out of the stomach, but with your rearranged gut, it gets mixed much further down, so it doesn't get mixed as compeltely to tone down the color, plus you are passing a lot less food, which means the concentration rate is high as well.

That subject was covered in my preop seminar. It's normal but if you're concernd call your doc. When in doubt check it out. Doc should be able to shed some light (not green) on your condition.

I would pop them as soon as the plane left the ground. By the time we had dinner, I was tired enough to sleep across the Atlantis and wake up fresh in Germany, ready to hit the Autobahn. (You'd better be alert on the Autobahn!!) CT

I freaked when mine was like golden nuggets! I think it has to do with weather or not you kept your gallbladder and what you are eating at the time.

I honestly don't know. That really doesn't sound like it is enough, but depends on if you are meeting your protein requirements. I am only a month out and I'm still supposed to be eating no more than 4 oz, 5-6 times a day. That sounds like a lot more. But at some point, I think it is 3 months out, I am supposed to go to 3 meals a day. I am thinking that is because at that point I will be ...

perhaps you are pushing too much in amount size.. the protein drink should only be 1 CUP..measure that out in a glass and you may find that you are trying to literally 'gag' down way too much at one time.

For close after, the breading has nothing to offer you, just empty carbs when you need protein. Further out, it's still not all that good. The breading absorbs a lot of the grease from the fryer, and some things are breaded much heavier than others. I will (not very often) eat something breaded when unavoidable, and it has no short-term effect on me. I just don't care for it any more, and ...

I was on protein shakes and blended pureed food for the first two weeks, for the next four weeks I was on soft foods. The next four weeks after that was the transition stage which was to slowly introduce solid foods back to your system. It goes rather qiuck and it is important to not move into the next stage to quickly. Always remember to get your protein in before anything else.

That's a very good question. I count EVERYTHING, no matter how small it might seem. It just helps me keep a better grip on what I'm doing. I log everything I eat into the dailyplate. It helps me stay honest with myself. And if my weight climbs a little, it's easy for me to look back and see what I did the day before that might not have been so smart. haha

Has this been a problem for you? I'm 7 days post-op and everytime I wake up in the middle of the night I feel nausea, then this morning i woke up at 3am thinking I might throw up. When I didn't I just took a few sips of water and went back to bed, 3 hours later I'm in the bathroom dry heaving. Worst thing ever besides actually throwing stuff up. __________________...

Have you ever been concerned about this... I think I may have offended a new friend and didnt mean to? My children started a new school this year and none of them ever saw me at 315 pounds or the years of up and downs. This new friend(sons tutor, and mom of a fellow sports program) is pretty big. I bet she is near where I was at my highest. Any way my daughter cheers for ...

I usually have a protein shake. Not much of a breakfast person myself. I have eaten scrambled eggs w/sausage/bacon, onions, bell peppers, & melted cheese. (Can't do eggs anymore.) Oatmeal is good. A packet at work with a half scoop of protein give about 11g protein. Cocoa Wheats has lots of protein, is instant, & easy to heat at work & drink from a mug.
