Spitting stitch and swelling in...
Published (2009-12-27 17:11:00)
( Thanks Ruth. It is weird how one surgery will cause swelling and another doesn't. It seems the only swelling is in my tummy and back where aggressive lipo was done. Other areas have gone down for the most part. ,)

questions about Dr. SAUCEDA
Published (2009-12-27 08:11:00)
( there is no reason to ask him about this. this is not his name or his certifications. it's a totally different doctor. I have dealt wit this problem in nursing. My name is very very common and I am often accused of having my license revoked in the state of Minnesote and Michigan for drug abuse. I have never held a license in Minnesota or Michigan. AND my middle initials are L AN J This other nurse's middle initial...

( Well if you want the same Dr. operating on you I wouldn't suggest legal action. But legal action might get your $ back so you could go to a different PS. You don't deserve this but I am not sure I'd have the same PS still working on me regardless. I am sorry! Good l uck. ,)

compression garments harmful?
Published (2009-12-26 15:32:00)
( My PS has me in a binder for the tummy tuck but doesn't do compression garments for my thigh lipo until drains are out. At that point she said to get spanx rather than a more expensive medical compression garment - she said the research is inconclusive on compression garments and that they may provide more psychological stability than physical. ,)

compression garments harmful?
Published (2009-12-26 02:32:00)
( My surgeon did not wrap me in one or send me home in one. She felt they are in fact more harmful than good. I asked her several times to be specific and she did mention the muscle issue in the compression weakening the muscles, taking longer to heal and I can't remember the other one. ,)

Thanks for posting the pictures, quite the improvement after using the silicone strips, can you please share the brand? How often do you use them? Are they like placing a band-aid? I have a similar issue with swelling above the scar on the right side of my pubic area, there is an area about 5 inches long by three inches wide that is very hard and protruding quite a bit, it is very similar to ...

yes, you are not alone. I didn't have implants so really can't help much there. i had an auto-fat breast enhancement that went from C to DD one side and DDD the other with that one 3CM lower than the other. Have had 3 reductions since to get them to a more perky C/D. The nipples were moved for a third time and lived which is rare - so i do caution you to find out if he plans to move the nipples...

( I don't know why there are not pics, but know he does them. I got a quote for a mini from him, but it's combined with other procedures, so it would be more as a stand alone.
I do recall seeing someone post a while back her arm pics, and I thought they looked nice. If I can remember the posters name or dredge up the post, I'll put it in here. ,)

( I was going to have fat grafting to my lips but am undecided about it at this point. I will still do it to my nasolabial folds if needed \(I just had a mini face lift and may not need it at least for a while\) but I could not bare a result I didn't like in my lips. My lips are thinning and I definitely want them plumped but fat grafting is pretty much permanent. Since I've never plumped my ...

( Have you or are you also taking a good probiotic while on the antibiotic? The antibiotic disrupts the flora in the gut and the probiotic helps to restore some of the good stuff that the antibiotic wipes out. ,)

( Thank you very much for sharing this. I'm sure it wasn't easy for you to put it all down in writing - but it may also be part of your emotional healing process.
I, as well as others I'm sure, appreciate hearing the story from all sides - I haven't had my PS yet, but will be having my TT on Jan 15th. I've had some anxiety because of it too and am trying to deal with it.

( Most plastic surgeons are always taught this is proper procedure so they pass along the information to their patients, obviously. The real world and abundant post bariatric patients have taught them not every situation is the same. Quite a few of Board Certified surgeons are going against the grain and advising their patients that are close or within an acceptable "window" of slowing or ...
