Went to the dentist...

( Hmmm......Premenopausal vs. postmenopausal could be a significant issue, because bone loss really accelerates after menopause. I am 48 and showing no signs of menopause...so I'm kind of wondering whether it's better to do the Reclast infusions before bone loss accelerates or after... guess I'll have to start working on that research. My T scores were -1.8-ish in the spine and -2.5-ish in the hips. ,)

Help with WLS date and Holidays
Published (2009-11-24 04:56:00)
( If you've got holiday plans and would like to enjoy them, then I highly recommend getting your DS after the holiday. You might very well still be in the hospital on Christmas if you take the December 21 date. Trust me, you'll not feel festive in the least. Ditto for Jan 28 and thinking you'll be any kind of inspired to give your son a proper send-off. ,)

( I'm not sure about sweet potatoes, but I like that they simply taste better. I made one for my husband last evening and asked for a little. He gave me a small piece and I added a bit of butter, a little Splenda and a slash cinnamon. It was quite nummy!
My husband has brined our turkey before and I was a bit skeptical about it, but it turned out quite well. The meat had a lot of flavor and...

( I am pretty sure it is spelled Viokase.
Some of us, me included, need more than 100 gms a day of protein and the shakes seem to help my albumin and prealbumin better than food protein. I use whey protein isolate as it is supposed to be more bioavailable than the combination proteins.
Yeah, it will cause some weight gain or at least no loss, it works a little differently depending on...

( I think one diagnosis told me I had Hashimoto's but usually I am just told that I have hypothyroidism. My loss has been kind of slow the last month but I think it is pretty typical of the normal expect weight loss. As you can see, I am not very far out from surgery so I don't have much data for you. No one has ever mentioned that my loss might be slower so I am curious about answers you get. ...

( Sick people earn less money, too. Why not genetic testing or deny those whose family history may show a predisposition for cancer, diabetes, hypertension, etc.? Would they include a certificate for the healthy lifestyles class with their resume? That is some scary **** Bull**** but nonetheless scary. ,)
