PAIGE...if you think you're not giving yourself enough APs, I would invest in a heart rate monitor with a chest strap. That way you can track your calories burned. 100 calories burned = 1 AP. Today for example, I did free weights, treadmill, and elliptical. According to the calculator I earned 4 points (I counted it as 75 minutes of moderate). However, given that in that 75 minutes, I did 1 minute high intensity intervals every few...

Well, enjoy whatever you cook! I just looked at DD's photos, very cute! When you were her age is that what you looked like? She looks so much like you I would imagine it is like seeing your own little person photos! Good luck in a bit looking at that townhome! I'll send you my personal email address, I think you just have my work one.

Welcome MZ! I have most of the Firm wo's and equipment. The TransFirmer is my favorite but I do enjoy riding the Wave now and then! Good luck...it sounds like you have a plan! Hi Nanie and all you other Firmers, Today may be a DOR. Company coming at 1:00 to watch the game and then an early dinner out afterward. Then tomorrow I have a funeral...could be another DOR. Two in a row??? Well, maybe that's a good thing just to shake up the...

Got it, I'll let you know how it goes. DD & I have the same face, but my hair was brown and straight, so I don't think you see the resemblence as much. Most people just gawk at her hair :) Well just finished doing IMAX3...good workout, but a bit rushed since I have to leave now... Everyone have a good weekend!! I think ML has a race this weekend, so GOOD LUCK!!! Of course you don't need it, you're such a pro! :)

for an mp3 player I am an ipod lover all the way. If you use it primarily for working out I would suggest a Nano or Touch although the shuffle is good too if you don't want to use playlists, etc. for HRM Polar is the brand I'd recommend. I've had mine at least 6 years yes replaced a few batteries in the watch but it's great. DH also has one.

Thank you all for the support on the 5K. I am going to do it--I'll register today. I had a decent run this morning, 20 minutes and then another 6-minute run after a brief walk. I should be back on track with longer runs in another 2 or 3 days and I'm SO determined not to let work derail me again like last week! I'll start NR tomorrow with the break-in...

Happy New Zumba week and Fall of the Berlin Wall Day, Zumba Divas. Did I ever mention that my DH was stationed in West Berlin at the time and was one of the crazy kids dancing on the Berlin Wall and chiseling off a big 'ol chunk of it for posterity? Good times. Countdown to convention...or at least convention registration....has begun!

the whole how much fat loss % you are burning during your workouts is really a myth. Yes at lower intensity levels you may burn a higher % of fat but this doesn't matter for two reasons. 1) while a higher intensity workout may burn fat at a lower % it is also very likely if long enough it will burn both more total calories and more fat calories. ...
