Howdy Doers! Glaxers, I'm glad you were able to get some stuff done. Are you experiencing something like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? I hope not. I am felling a bit better than I was yesterday. Mostly I'm tired and achey today, and I feel a nap coming on. So far I've: Juiced, cleaned kitchen, had lunch, answered e-mail and cut out fabrics for nephew's monster softie this afternoon. Next I get to: Rest a bit, maybe put in a...

Good morning! I saw the thread and was all like, "Really? It's only Friday? Awesome!" *heart sinks* Alas, it's Saturday which means the weekend is moving forward and passing me by without accomplishing my weekend goals! Oy. CG - There was a 14 piece storage set on sale for $20 that I wanted to pick up. I'm sure it will be on sale again somewhere, even if a bit more, and I'll grab it then. (((Quirky))) So...

My favorite yogis to do DVDs or CDs or podcasts to are: Shiva Rea Janet Stone Eoin Finn (and I'm just getting to know) Sadie Nardini If you can do audial cues, then Eoin Finn is a treasure trove of free podcasts of yoga practices between 30 and 90 minutes in length; many of them pretty strenuous. Shiva Rea's stuff is available through Netflix if you want to try her out. I recommend starting with Yoga Shakti which has about 4 hours...

What I've heard is consistent with what Liz says-- that you should limit 0-point foods other than veggies to no more than 5 a day. I've never heard of counting points for 0-point foods.

Hi all! It's still not noon in the Great White North, and I'm getting way off my weekday schedule. I'll be heading out to the gym in a couple of hours, but planning to put in an hour between cardio, and yoga at home.

This is not a common scenario for me, but it happened last night that I went to bed at 8:30 and was up at 2:30 wide awake and tossing. Tea and toast will often help me get back to sleep, so at 3:30 I had tea and toast and then slept til 7:30.
I usually choose A and sometimes C but rarely B.
How about you?

Morning all! My headache is still with me. I spent most of yesterday asleep; right now I’d like to do the same today, but I have laundry and other work to do.
This morning I came across Time’s 25 best blogs 2009 (http://icanhaz.com/25blogs) and have added a few to my google page. Not that I have much time to read lengthy blog posts, but they’re so ...

(((Amanda))) – A little Minkey told me that you need some hugs. Glad you were able to get some schoolwork done despite the rude interruption. The nerve some people have to expect work to be done at work. Humpf. What knife do you want? Did you get it?
Patt – Hope you’re still feeling better. When Audrey was young (and just back from the vet after ...

I hate that. That always happens to me too. I have been looking for a nice baby blue matte nail polish forever and can't find it anywhere even though I'm sure I've seen it before.

Cook only as much as you can eat at one meal. If you have leftovers, freeze them. That will make it harder for you to eat them. If you cook enough for two meals, freeze the second meal.
I find that I can control portion size when roasting veggies. Salads are another good option. I also like to stir fry veggies with tofu. You can also eat a veggie ...

So glad you're feeling better Maddy.
Dave had one of those weird events where nothing really went wrong, but then everything did. He did a hard weight workout one day, but nothing more than is normal for him, except using a leg machine he'd never tried before for all of 10 minutes. Two days later he was in agony in any position and unable to walk. It ...

Hi all,
Grad school is over and DD is out of the hospital, but there is significant collateral damage.
I cleaned my desk yesterday ( about 2 ft high with books, papers and carp) to remind myself that this is a fresh start.
Back to swimming in the mornings, but spending more time in restaurants than in water. Time for a change.
Hope you all ...

Rae – Congrats on passing up the goodies at TJs. I’m jealous of your RTM trip. I hate to drive in the city (yeah, I’m a wimp) and it’s almost an hour on the train from Elwyn to Market East. Hope you’re able to relax this weekend.

Someone yelled at you for "keep going and never give up!" ??? That is totally inexplicable.
Many folks come here an never leave. We're kind of like a black hole that way. Me. I still brave certain other boards but not the really bad ones.
