As you said, when you first start out, a certain amount of the initial weight loss is water. That will vary per person. People who are heavier tend to have greater losses the first few weeks than those with not as much to lose. With WW, the "average" weight loss is .5 to 2 lbs. How quickly your weight loss drops into that "average" will depend upon your own body.

Tired of counting points
Published (2009-11-08 19:02:00)
As everyone has suggest, you might want to try the simply filling technique. I'll add something to think about. I have been counting points for 4-1/2 years now. Everytime I think I'm getting tired of it, I think of how much I would prefer counting points to counting the meds I would be on if I hadn't lost the weight.

yeah, Leah. I finally broke down due to the great price I bought it at. Susie - That's what I was thinking as I tried it plain. This could easily substitute for sour cream. I think it would be perfect for baked potatoes, dip and mexican food. I'm leaving for the day. See you all on Monday. Have a great weekend!

I am starting to make everything from scratch. I've found that with some planning and a freezer, it's really easy and not that time consuming to make everything completely homemade. DH and I have a rule that we can only put 2 processed foods each in the cart per week. It really helps us to buy healthy foods that aren't full of chemicals and preservatives.

Maureen, I'd imagine it looks something like it does on New Year's Day. I've never gone down to see the ball drop, it's something I really should do. (((Breezy))) I hope you get lots of rest and chicken soup and orange juice today! Cecelia, hmmm if you get the MRI and it turns out to be a torn miniscus, what does that mean? surgery? will it get better on its own? Hi Michelle! Glad Ali is a little better today. ::smootch::...

My current favs are campbell's soup at hand. They vary in cals/fat. My fav is veg.beef and chicken w/mini noodles. They are easy to take to work for lunch paired w/ a salad and are very low points. Also good are Progresso soups and you can get the ones that come in a cup that are also very point friendly. These are my go to soups for work and help to ...

I actually get on the scale daily (I know, I know). But, I rely on how my clothes fit more than the scale. I have a wide range of clothes in my closet, so many options to choose from.
