I don't know your brother or his situation, but I can tell you about my brother. He left his daughter in a less than ideal situation. For years, I talked / cajoled - tried to get him to do something for her other than leave her with her drug addled mother. Ultimately, it would have involved too much change on his part. Too much effort, and too much unpleasantness for him to take action. Unfortunately, his daughter is the one bearing the...

Yes, DH is like that- it used to drive me crazy, but now I just make the decisions unless it's really, really important to me that he has input. It's going much more smoothly now. I think it's more like Jessica- DH really just doesn't have an opinion on most things, he just goes w/ the flow.

I guess feet are my "thing." I know how uncomfortable *I* am in those types of shoes, so I can only imagine she must be as well. And it can't be good for her feet. I guess I don't care for it. It doesn't look like she's playing dress-up (which wouldn't bother me). It looks like her mother carefully selected high heels for her to wear with her skirt. Weird.

I saw Goats last weekend and quite enjoyed it, even though there really isn't a whole lot to it. I would rather gouge my own eyes out and eat glass than watch a Sandra Bullock movie.

Its called stuffing for a reason...
...and that reason is not so you can open a packet of Uncle Bens or Stovetop.
You STUFF the INSIDE of the bird.

I don't think marriage was brought up at all until Eclipse.
I was impressed by Jacob :) There wasn't any screaming either, but gasping when he was without his shirt.

I think there is too much empahsis put on this nonsense.
Buy what you need and what you will use. Just because something is on sale doesn't mean that you need to buy it. Shop at the grocery store you prefer. Don't waste time and money running from store to store to save a nickle here or there.
What you eat is important. Its more important than how ...

I think we waited until they were each a year old which was the recommendation at the time since we don't have any family history of food allergies.

That's good to know, thanks for the review. DD1 & DD2 mentioned wanting to watch it.

At 4 my youngest couldn't quite get the DS games. I got her the Leapster 2 - they've just upped the game level for Leapster 2 and have some that hit the 6-8 year old range now. If you have a Costco membership, they sell Leapster 2 in a package deal with a game & a case. They have pink or green girl/boy sets. They are very affordable too.
