£1000 in a month isn't that much media spend. You won't make money if you only charge 15%. I'd recommend 15% with a minimum of £500/mo management fee. And when you start getting a pool of clients and can't take anymore, raise your prices.

If you are not offering anything other than bid management (i.e. no tracking, no consultancy, no niche keyword identification) I can't see a huge amount of value in what you propose, but I'll stand corrected if you are. A client could use Auto Bid for free to manage their 20 keywords without it being too much of a headache. I also prefer the percentage based way because we have an incentive to find more inventory for our clients, so...

I use Admanage on my blog. I find that their in text ads are actually well targeted. The company has a good reputation as well. They've got a good payout scheme also, they pay a 60/40 revshare.
