adwords usage
Published (2009-12-03 19:33:00)
The Adwords keyword tool is a tool meant for advertisers, not to find "hot" keywords as you put it. As part of that tool is a CPC estimate of what the advertiser can expect to pay for the top positions on the search network (google.com and a few others), given average ad quality. If you are talking about being a publisher in the Adsense program, it won't tell you how much you will get from a click. Doesn't work that...

> Hmm, sounds fine, but I'd suspect clickbank being the problem, most of the bans I personally heard of were accounts with some clickbank programs in them. I think you may be right. Of the few I did get slapped at the beginning- both were with DIRECT-LINKING via Clickbank. Of the last two sites I was doing before I got the boot, they were Clickbank vendors. All those guys which were doing 6 to 7 figures per year, were all doing...

Ivek, im sorry to say but you seem extremely naive to the whole PPC marketing idea. I have a history in adult based sales, promotions and websites etc, however i couldn't have profited in the mainstream PPC world without some serious learning to be done, and i don't mean just asking around DigitalPoint because it isnt the best place to learn, since there are so many people with no idea what they are talking about who seem to feel the...

Useful information! I know some one use ppc to get $300,000 per month. He spend $5,000 every day on PPC! The most important thing is the keyword!!!! If you can find a best keyword you will make big money with it!

Email Google. One week is too long and you probably just fell through the cracks. Happened a few times with some of my clients. Usually resolved within 24 hours or less once I "complain" that ads are yet to be approved.

yes adwords can do wonders for ecommerce sites! It's all about research and keyword selection. Picking keywords that grab people that are in the buying mood! It's a tough market, takes a lot of research, but the earning potentials are unlimited if you get it down right.

Nothing in the rules that says you cannot put a phone number in your ad. You see it occasionally.
The logic of course is that the advertiser wants the viewer to pick up the phone without clicking and thus saving the cost of the click. But people want information, that's why they use a search engine and want to visit sites to get that information. Having your phone number in the ad does not ...

You seem to be confused as to what Adwords is and does.
Adwords is a PPC ( pay-per-click) advertising service. You bid on keywords that people search for and your ads are displayed when those keywords are used in the search. If people click your ad, you get charged a certain amount that depends on many factors. You will not be charged however more than the bid you specify.

You mention a few different things here, I assume your main business is web design services, some SEO too. This is a competitive area.
However, QS is strongly influenced by CTR, not bid as you are implying. You also seem to be focusing on your landing page. Focus more on improving your ads, get that click rate up. Download my Adwords FAQ for more details on quality score.

No such thing to my knowledge. Budget is set at campaign level so you must set appropriately for total expected spend of all groups you have. I can't ever think of how you would implement that yourself, automatically that is.
