You could just automate it, but I have heard bad things about this. The safe way is always manually.

Just wondered what directory owners are working on to improve their sites. I'm currently going through all of my submission descriptions and editing them to be written in the same style (thanks for the idea from Chris and Yahoo directory), after that I'll be going through all my meta descriptions so they aren't written in the same duplicated style (thanks for the idea from Google Webmaster Tools...

Do Directories really improve rank? or are they considered link farms and bad neighborhoods by google?

Hi, All DP member I feel that When I am start work in directory submission so,most important factor is category. It is true

I just witnessed that the quantum of penalizing(SERP Penalty or PR Penalty) dirs. by google is less for niche dirs. than general web dirs. Does it mean google loves niche dirs. more than general dirs.?

What can you advise on article submission to Wikipedia library! I have tried to submit articles to Wikipedia several times, nevertheless they have never been approved by editors and have been deleted without no explanations as a result!

Hi All, I have been trying to submit my sites to directories for more than a year and I must say, it is quite disappointing that if you submit your site to some 100 directories, you will get listed only into a handful of directories after waiting long for ages. What do you think a good bounce rate for a directory is? Obviously it can often be higher than with otehr types of site/ecommerce site - particularly when it is new. I'm getting around 70% at the moment whereas my e-commerce sites/blogs are more like 40-50% is this really high?

Hi Recent economic turmoil has impact on every business may be it will affect this as well! I wonder but not sure how much this crisis will affect directory industry: more precisely link building etc etc... Any opinion? Any guess? Any prediction? Please share your experience and thought! Thanks
